Story: Suzuna had been living a perfectly normal life with her mother, while having to attend college and dealing with boys and everything. However her life is turned upside down when she finds out that her mother plans to remarry! The day arrives when she’s supposed to meet her possibly new dad….however turns out that she won’t only be getting a new dad, but four older brothers! (As well as a butler and a huge new house to boot.) But it seems the chaos doesn’t end there for Suzuna sadly, turns out that her mother and possible new dad have to leave for a week….which leaves you alone in the house with your four possible new older brothers and the butler!

However since Suzuna knows that your mother is happy with the man, you decide to accept it….but it seems that the brothers feel differently. So the second oldest brother, Setsuno proposes a bet with the other three that the first person to make Suzuna fall in love with them by the time their parents return, will get to decide whether or not they’ll allow their father’s marriage. They all agree and thus…the week alone with her brothers begins.

The oldest brother, who is also the one who is the strongest against this marriage is Souiichiro Kasuga, he works as a doctor and is strongly into Japanese customs, like whenever he’s around the house he’s always wearing kimono. Next up is Sestuno, the one who proposed that crazy bet with his brothers, he works as an actor and a model, heck even Suzuna knew who he was before she met him since he’s that famous. He’s sweet and nice to Suzuna, but tends to flirt around with her and is really into to whole bet of getting her to fall for him.

Subaru is the third brother, and the quietest of all the brothers. He currently attends the same university as her, but is a grade higher then Suzuna. Subaru is a piano genius, and the strangest thing about him? He has a pet chameleon named Berry that he brings around with him practically everywhere…. And finally the youngest brother is Yoshitaka, Suzuna’s known him since high school and have been friends for a very long time. So finding out that the two were going to be siblings all of a sudden was quite a shock for both of them….but it seems to have taken a bigger toll on Yoshitaka for some reason. Not to forget though is the house butler, Kageyama Satofumi, who’s been serving under the Kasuga’s for a very long time. He does practically all the house chores such as cooking, cleaning, fetching things.

Review without add on disc: I was actually sort of playing this during the time I was playing Butlers, but I finished Butlers first and to be honest they’re really different from each other. I mean they both come from Tiaramode, and Butlers being their first and then Brothers….and you can tell with like the menus and gallery setup also. However, I have to say Tiaramode made Brothers both better and worse…the better part to Brothers was that the story lines were somewhat more elaborately made (somewhat) and was more interesting. The bad parts was that they had rape, and this is in the main game WITHOUT the add on disc…talk about a step down for Tiaramode in my opinion. I heard Butlers had maybe something like this, but only WITH the add on disc. So the fact that there’s rape in the main disc, totally turned me off.

Story wise for the guys I have to say Subaru’s was the most interesting and unique one out of everyone else’s. Whereas everyone else sort of had a typical type of story, where you knew where it was heading. For example Souiichiro has that whole, you’re my younger sister but I see you as a woman thus I will run away deal, or like Yoshitaka is a typical college sort of romance.

Review on add on disc parts: If you add the add on disc, you can unlock Rhapsody which is where the stories go sort of twisted and there’s a whole lot more sexual situations going on. Now what did I not like about this add on disc? Well it just made the characters so much more UNLIKEABLE. That and their stores were POINTLESS and stupid – which includes Souiichiro’s, Setsuna’s, and Yoshitaka’s. Their stories were just a waste of time, extremely stupid, and just an add on for sex. The only perk was their endings (the good ones) in Rhapsody, which was somewhat cute…which didn’t fit in at all with that whole mean storyline.

Now for Subaru’s story in Rhapsody, it was completely worth it….I mean REALLY worth it. I already thought he had the most interesting story in the normal story, but he had the best and most moe in his Rhapsody. Kageyama’s was actually really interesting also! It gives you a new side to him, since his story was already pretty short in the main one, and everything. But I would recommend only playing Rhapsody for Kageyama, and with Subaru’s story a must play. However that and I’m a Subaru lover….so I’m very biased, but he really does have the most interesting story.

And for those who aren’t interested in much stronger sexual scenes, just don’t get and add on the extra disc.

It’s just like Butlers, where you go around the house talking to the guys and like then like make some decisions here and there. However a thing that’s different in this game is that instead you don’t stalk just talk to the one guy that you want… This time Tiaramode but a meter thing for the guys and you see how much they basically like or hate you, and the more you stalk bother them constantly around makes them hate you. So that means…you also have to socialize with the other guys or something! That was actually sort of interesting, since Butlers just made you stalk the guy…..but then again this is much more tedious and -_- and I ended up using a walk through for this. Oh! Not only that but you have NO CLUE as to where the guys are in the house, which…is makes more sense logically since in Butlers it was like you had some huge radar thing and always knew where everyone. (Eh they were just on the map) ……..so you only knew who was where the moment you click on a place to go. So there’s the other main reason to use a walk through -_- because the guys aren’t usually always in the their one favorite place.

Seiyuu: I don’t really have any complaints with anyone like Butlers, but I have to say for some reason I felt like I wasn’t really disapointed with their voices. Such as they all fit everyone? Agggh KISHO TANIYAMA. YOU TORTURE ME SO. He’s the guy who did Leni (UTM), Cifar (Love Drops), and Len (La Corda)..but that’s just mainly his otome game stuff he always does a lot of other work and singing. But anyhoo before I get really sidetracked, him as Subaru…was just amazing. I just love his voice so much….sorry D:

Music: Hm, it was alright like Butlers but I didn’t like that one track is all doom and gloom music….it was just creepy. The opening song sort of made me laugh, since well first of all it’s called “She’s my little sister” so that’s….really interesting. But this up beat song did fit with Brothers, unlike Butlers. Don’t go expecting some elaborate soundtrack though, it’s just as many songs or well less…then Butlers.

Conclusion: This game…is sort of a game you’ll hate if you play their bad endings or their Rhapsody routes, but if you replay it for their good routes you’ll find them much more likable and go moe. Sometimes I thought the colors were too….stark? Like toooo colorful and bright, compared to the super toned down Butlers colors. Hm…..would I recommend this though? I have to say only if you’re tolerable for games like UTM and or is a fan of Kisho. Since I really have mixed feelings about this game….but I can’t say I hated it. That and it took much more longer to play this game since it was more elaborately set out then Butlers, and a guide is a must for this since you have no clue where the guys are….

But this was a step up for Tiaramode in their having to not just bother one guy, and how their story lines were somewhat better such as with Subaru’s which was the best out of them all in my opinion. That and they stopped doing the stupid CGs during the ero scenes in Butlers, and somewhat made ah interesting? Just not as standard. However a step down for them having the stupid story lines in Rhapsody for as said earlier in my review and those stupid sex scenes. That and I felt like there was something wrong with Suzuna’s porportions in some ero CGs, like her head was too big or she looked really awkward.

To be honest I like the harem ending at the end (no orgy) hahaha it made me surprised yet it was cool since they’re all like serving you. xD

Fun fact! Once you finish getting all the characters and everything you get this mode called “Mama” and you basically go and see the boys in uh you’re mom’s POV….-_- no there is no uh ero scenes THANK GOD, it’s just to see another side to the guys, and it was interesting…yet weird at the same time. I believe this is also only with the extra disc.

Favorite Characters: Subaru and Kageyama

Least Favorite: Setsuna, Soiichiro…..but that’s only if you play their stupid routes. If I have to say without playing those routes, there wasn’t anyone I hated.

Sidenote: Crap…just realized I’m missing just like two moments….and that’s why I don’t have the bonus CG you get at the end. -o-;;
